SPRING BREAK ART CAMP AND WORKSHOPS

ABOUT
This is a week long camp put on by Two or More Creative, a creative collective. The goal of Two or More Creative is to cultivate a community of creatives and provide resources for young artists. This specific camp is a nature based camp with the goal of teaching the foundations of art to elementary aged students (6-10). In this program we will study the 7 elements of art- line, shape, form, value, space, texture, and color. In that process, we will incorporate nature by studying different elements found as we walk trails and forage. Class sizes are limited to 8 children per class to ensure that each child gets an adequate amount of assistance and attention. We believe in mentorship and getting to know your child and their creative style of learning so a smaller class size is important as we are just launching.
MEET THE TEACHER
My name is Lydia Ritter, I am 22 year old Florida based artist also known as Lidoarts. I create a variety of art ranging from murals to logos. My flagship brand is Lidoarts, but I have recently launched a creative collective called Two or More Creative in which my art camps are run through. I have always had a passion for art and for sharing the joys of art. one of my favorite things to do is to help others, especially young artists cultivate their own creativity. I love being able to give direction and encouragement that pushes young artists to work outside of their comfort zone and find the flow that works for them. I push them to understand that yes there are “rules” to art but those are there for breaking! I am beyond stoked for every student that comes through my class to understand the creativity within them!
ABOUT OUR HOST
Flagler Beach Farmhouse has a mission of creating a gathering place where people share new experiences and make memories. They believe in creating environments that inspire rest, creativity and being present. A variety of events are hosted here by the owners Theary and Jared Ritter. Events include intimate weddings, worship nights, retreats, parties, and so much more. They have so graciously opened up this beautiful space for art camp!
